Frekvensförändringar
Frekvensförändringar, often translated as frequency shifts or frequency changes, refers to a modification in the oscillation rate of a wave. This can occur in various physical phenomena, including sound waves, light waves, and radio waves. The most well-known example is the Doppler effect, where the perceived frequency of a wave changes due to the relative motion between the source and the observer. If the source is moving towards the observer, the frequency appears higher (a blueshift for light, a higher pitch for sound). Conversely, if the source is moving away, the frequency appears lower (a redshift for light, a lower pitch for sound).
In acoustics, frequency is directly related to pitch. Thus, a frequency change in a sound wave results
In electromagnetism, frequency is related to the color of light and the energy of photons. Astronomy extensively
