Foszforilációból

Foszforilációból is a Hungarian term that translates to "from phosphorylation" in English. Phosphorylation is a fundamental biochemical process in which a phosphate group is added to a molecule. This addition can significantly alter the molecule's properties, often activating or deactivating it.

In biological systems, phosphorylation plays a critical role in numerous cellular functions. It is a key mechanism in cellular respiration, the process by which cells generate energy. Adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the primary energy currency of cells, is synthesized through phosphorylation. The energy stored in ATP is released when a phosphate group is removed, a process known as dephosphorylation.

Phosphorylation is also central to signal transduction pathways, which cells use to communicate and respond to their environment. Many proteins are activated or deactivated by the addition or removal of phosphate groups, thereby controlling cellular activities such as growth, metabolism, and gene expression.
