Flandrian
Flandrian refers to a person from Flanders, a Dutch-speaking region in the northern part of Belgium. It can also refer to something related to Flanders, such as the Flandrian dialect, Flandrian art, or Flandrian culture. The region of Flanders is one of the three main regions of Belgium, alongside Wallonia and the Brussels-Capital Region. Flemings constitute the majority population of Belgium. The Flandrian identity is strongly linked to the Dutch language and has a rich history and cultural heritage. This includes a distinct artistic tradition, a unique culinary landscape, and a history shaped by its strategic location in Europe. The Flandrian people have played a significant role in Belgian history and politics. The term is sometimes used more broadly to describe the characteristics or spirit associated with the region and its people.
