Fertilizációban refers to the process of fertilization, the fusion of male and female gametes to initiate the development of a new individual. In sexual reproduction, this typically involves the union of a sperm cell and an egg cell. The sperm cell, produced by the male, and the egg cell, produced by the female, each carry half the genetic material of an organism. When they meet under appropriate conditions, the sperm penetrates the egg, and their nuclei merge. This fusion creates a zygote, which is the first diploid cell of a new organism.
