Fehmarn
Fehmarn is a German island in the Baltic Sea, located in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. It lies north of the Bay of Lübeck and is separated from the German mainland by the Fehmarn Sound. Across the Fehmarn Belt lies the Danish island of Lolland; a long-planned fixed link between Denmark and Germany is being built to replace ferry traffic, a project expected to connect via a submerged tunnel with road and rail capacity.
