FRHI
FRHI Hotels & Resorts was a global hospitality company formed in 2015. It was the result of the merger of Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Raffles Hotels and Resorts, and Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts. FRHI operated a diverse portfolio of luxury and upscale hotels and resorts across more than 100 countries. The company was known for its distinct brands, each offering a unique guest experience rooted in heritage, service, and location. Fairmont was recognized for its historic and iconic properties, Raffles for its legendary service and opulent suites, and Swissôtel for its contemporary design and Swiss hospitality. FRHI emphasized personalized service, culinary excellence, and memorable experiences for its guests. In 2016, FRHI Hotels & Resorts was acquired by AccorHotels, a French multinational hospitality group. Following the acquisition, the brands under FRHI became part of Accor's extensive global network, further expanding Accor's presence in the luxury segment. The integration aimed to leverage the strengths of both organizations to enhance guest offerings and operational efficiencies.
