Exporterkre

Exporterkre is a concept developed within socialist planned economies, particularly during the Soviet era. The term "Exporterkre" translates to "export circle" in English. It refers to the Soviet Union's planned economy approach towards promoting trade and industrial cooperation within the Eastern Bloc.

The Exporterkre plan aimed to stimulate domestic growth and meet export targets by forming strategic partnerships with other socialist or communist countries. By consolidating trade among bloc member states, the Soviet Union aimed to optimize the utilization of its industrial capacities and increase its presence in international markets.

Key features of the Exporterkre plan included planned export targets, joint production agreements, and sharing of technological expertise. Through this program, the Soviet Union provided other Eastern Bloc countries with access to its technological resources and industrial scale, supporting their inherent industrial development needs.
