Excretórias

Excretórias is a term used in biology to describe processes or structures involved in excretion, which is the biological process of eliminating metabolic waste products from an organism. These waste products can include substances like urea, uric acid, excess salts, and water. Excretory systems are found in a wide range of organisms, from single-celled protozoa to complex multicellular animals.

In unicellular organisms, excretion often occurs directly across the cell membrane. For example, contractile vacuoles in amoebas and paramecia remove excess water and waste.
