Etkiyi

Etkiyi is the accusative singular form of the Turkish noun etki, which means influence, effect, or impact. In Turkish grammar, the accusative case marks the definite direct object, and for words that end in a vowel the linking consonant y is inserted before the suffix. Therefore, etki becomes etkiyi in the accusative definite form. The form is used when the influence is treated as a specific object of an action.

Common usages include sentences such as: "Etkiyi azaltmak için önlemler alındı" (Measures were taken to reduce the influence).
