Enzymaktivität
Enzymaktivität refers to the rate at which an enzyme catalyzes a reaction. It is a measure of how efficiently an enzyme can convert its substrate into products. Factors such as temperature, pH, substrate concentration, and the presence of inhibitors or activators can significantly influence this activity.
Generally, enzyme activity increases with temperature up to an optimal point, beyond which it rapidly declines
Inhibitors are substances that decrease enzyme activity, either by binding to the active site (competitive inhibition)
