Energiressursen
Energiressursen, or energy resources, are substances or systems that can be converted into useful energy. They are classified into two main categories: renewable and non-renewable. Renewable energy resources are those that can be replenished naturally within a human timescale, such as solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and biomass energy. These resources are considered sustainable as they do not deplete over time and have a minimal environmental impact. Non-renewable energy resources, on the other hand, are finite and will eventually be exhausted. These include fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas, as well as nuclear energy. The extraction and use of non-renewable resources often have significant environmental consequences, including air and water pollution, habitat destruction, and greenhouse gas emissions. The transition towards renewable energy sources is a global priority to mitigate climate change and ensure long-term energy security.
