Endodermhypoblast

Endodermhypoblast is a term related to early embryonic development, representing a group of cells within the blastocyst stage of mammals. It refers specifically to the hypoblast, also known as the primitive endoderm, which forms part of the inner cell mass (ICM) during the formation of the embryo.

During early development, after fertilization, the zygote undergoes several rounds of cell division to form a blastocyst. The blastocyst comprises an outer layer called the trophoblast and an inner cell mass. The inner cell mass differentiates into two main layers: the epiblast and the hypoblast. The hypoblast, or endodermhypoblast, contributes to the formation of the primitive endoderm, which lines the inner surface of the blastocyst cavity.
