Elektrokemialliseksi refers to the process of converting electrical energy into chemical energy through electrolysis, or vice versa, by utilizing electrochemical reactions. In electrolysis, electrical energy is used to drive non-spontaneous chemical reactions, typically splitting compounds into their constituent elements.
