Electronmyndun, also known as electron microscopy, is a powerful imaging technique used to visualize the ultrastructure of a wide range of biological and inorganic specimens. It achieves much higher resolution than light microscopy, allowing for the observation of structures at the nanometer scale. There are two primary types of electron microscopy: transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

TEM involves the transmission of electrons through a thin specimen, which is then magnified and focused onto a fluorescent screen or detector. This technique is particularly useful for studying the internal structure of cells, tissues, and other biological samples. SEM, on the other hand, scans the surface of a specimen with a focused beam of electrons and detects the secondary electrons emitted from the surface. This method is excellent for obtaining high-resolution images of the surface topography of specimens, including biological tissues, metals, and polymers. SEM can also be used to analyze the composition of materials through techniques like energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS).
