Dfinitys

Dfinity is a blockchain-based cloud computing project aiming to create a decentralized internet. Its core innovation is the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP), which allows smart contracts to run at web speed and scale, enabling the development of dapps (decentralized applications) that can directly serve users without intermediaries.

The project's goal is to provide a platform where developers can build and host applications directly on a global network of nodes, bypassing traditional cloud infrastructure providers like Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud.
