Darajasidan

Darajasidan is a grammatical form in Uzbek built from the noun daraja (level, degree) with the possessive suffix -si and the ablative suffix -dan, yielding darajasidan, literally “from its level” or “according to its degree.” The construction expresses source, basis, or scope—essentially anchoring a statement, measurement, or evaluation to a defined level or standard. In use, darajasidan functions as an oblique modifier and can appear in noun phrases or clauses that describe qualitative or quantitative relations.

Etymology and morphology: daraja forms the base noun; -si marks possession (its), and -dan marks the ablative (from). The combined form darajasidan thus communicates origin or reference point relative to a level or standard. The construction can be adapted to reflect different possessors or reference levels by attaching the appropriate possessive suffix before the ablative, creating related forms such as according to a given level.

Usage: Darajasidan is most common in formal, descriptive, or analytical Uzbek, including academic writing, reports, and administrative language.
