Dalquest
Dalquest is a genus of extinct glyptodonts, a type of armadillo relative, that lived in South America during the Pleistocene epoch. The genus is known from several species, including Dalquestia perigrina and Dalquestia bondi. These animals were characterized by their large, domed carapaces, which were covered in bony scutes. They were herbivores and likely grazed on grasses and other low-lying vegetation.
Fossil evidence suggests that Dalquest lived in open grassland environments. Their large size and protective shells
