DSMC refers to the Digital Single-Lens Camera. This type of camera combines the optical system of a single-lens reflex camera with the digital image sensor technology found in digital cameras. In a DSLR, a mirror directs light from the lens to a prism and then to an optical viewfinder, allowing the photographer to see the scene directly through the lens. When the shutter is pressed, the mirror flips up, and the light strikes the digital sensor, capturing the image. This mechanism provides a direct, real-time view of the composition and focus.
