Cystincysteine

Cystincysteine is a theoretical peptide composed of two cysteine amino acid residues linked by a disulfide bond. In naturally occurring proteins, cysteine residues are known to form disulfide bridges that contribute to protein folding and stability. However, cystincysteine as a distinct, isolated molecule is not a commonly studied or naturally occurring entity.
