Crnojevis
Crnojevići (singular Crnojević) is the name of a medieval noble family associated with the region of Zeta, in what is today Montenegro. The Crnojevići rose as a ruling house in Zeta during the 15th century, holding authority under the broader feudal and regional structures of the South Slavic lands. They are remembered as early state-builders who faced the expanding Ottoman Empire and helped shape the political and cultural landscape of pre-modern Montenegro.
