Columbrete
Columbrete is a Spanish maritime islet located in the Mediterranean Sea, approximately 30 miles off the coast of the Valencian Community. It is the largest of the Columbretes Islands, a volcanic archipelago. The islet itself is characterized by its rugged, rocky terrain and is the most accessible part of the archipelago. Historically, Columbrete served as a landmark for navigation and was sometimes used as a temporary shelter by sailors.
The Columbretes Islands, including Columbrete, are a protected natural reserve due to their unique ecological importance
