Buynaksk
Buynaksk is a city in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia, located at the foot of the Greater Caucasus Mountains. It is situated on the Karakoysu River, approximately 40 kilometers southwest of the Dagestani capital, Makhachkala. Buynaksk is one of the oldest cities in Dagestan and served as the administrative center of the Buynaksky District until it was made a city of republican subordination.
