Bomiscom, originally known as Bomis, was an early online community and social networking platform that operated from 1998 to 2006. Founded by former *Playboy* magazine editor-in-chief Hugh Hefner and entrepreneur David Pecker, Bomis aimed to create a digital space for users to connect, share content, and engage in discussions. The site was notable for its mix of user-generated content, forums, and a subscription-based model that offered exclusive features for paying members.
