Bloukrans is a location along the Garden Route in the Western Cape, South Africa, best known for the Bloukrans Bridge on the N2 national route. The bridge spans the Bloukrans River valley, linking Nature’s Valley and Plettenberg Bay. The name Bloukrans comes from Afrikaans and translates to “blue rock.” The site is a notable landmark for both transportation and tourism in the region.

The Bloukrans Bridge is a concrete arch structure built in the early 1980s and opened to traffic in the mid-1980s. A major attraction at the site is the Bloukrans Bungy, a commercial bungee jump that is widely advertised as the highest bridge-based jump in the world.
