Bessarabian

Bessarabian refers to people, things, or phenomena originating from or related to Bessarabia. Bessarabia is a historical region in Eastern Europe, located between the Dniester and Prut rivers. Its territory largely corresponds to present-day Moldova and parts of southwestern Ukraine. The region has a complex and diverse history, having been part of various states and empires over centuries, including the Principality of Moldavia, the Ottoman Empire, the Russian Empire, Romania, and the Soviet Union.
