Belzer
Belzer is a surname that has appeared in various English-language records and media. The most widely known bearer is Richard Belzer (1944–2023), an American comedian, actor, and writer who gained fame for his portrayal of Detective John Munch. Munch originated on the television series Homicide: Life on the Street and was later carried over to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, where the character became a long-running staple of the franchise.
In addition to acting, Belzer pursued stand-up comedy, contributed as a writer, and did voice work for
