Belozersk

Belozersk is a town in Vologda Oblast, Russia, located on the southern shore of Lake Beloye. It is one of the oldest settlements in the north of Russia, with its first mention in chronicles dating back to 862 AD. Historically, Belozersk was a significant trade and administrative center, playing a key role in the development of the region. The town's strategic location on the waterways facilitated trade routes connecting the Baltic Sea with the Volga River.
