AvarAndiTsez
AvarAndiTsez refers to a language group spoken in the northeastern Caucasus region. This linguistic classification encompasses several related languages, primarily the Avar, Andi, and Tsez languages, although it is important to note that these are distinct languages with their own unique characteristics. The Avar language is the most widely spoken of the group, serving as a lingua franca for many in Dagestan, a republic within Russia. The Andi and Tsez languages, on the other hand, are spoken by smaller communities and are considered endangered by some linguists.
These languages are part of the Northeast Caucasian language family, also known as the Nakh-Dagestanian family.
