Askelkyykyt
Askelkyykyt is a traditional Inuit game played in the Canadian Arctic, particularly in the communities of Nunavut. The game is played by two teams, each consisting of four players. The objective of the game is to score points by throwing a small wooden disc, called an askelkyykyt, into a small hole in the ground. The hole is typically about 15 centimeters in diameter and is dug by the opposing team before the game begins.
The game is played on a flat surface, usually a frozen lake or a large snow-covered area.
Askelkyykyt is an important part of Inuit culture and is often played during community gatherings and celebrations.
