Ashby de la Zouch is a market town in Leicestershire, England. It is situated in the northwest of the county, close to the border with Derbyshire. The town is perhaps best known for its historic castle, Ashby Castle, which was once a significant stronghold during the medieval period. The remains of the castle, including the impressive Great Hall and Monks' Tower, are now a popular tourist attraction managed by English Heritage.
