Artikulaatioista refers to the Finnish term for articulations, which in linguistics pertains to the points and manners in which speech sounds are produced in the vocal tract. This concept is fundamental to phonetics, the study of speech sounds. When discussing artikulaatioista, linguists consider two primary aspects: the place of articulation and the manner of articulation. The place of articulation identifies where in the mouth or throat the airflow is obstructed or modified.
