Antipoodmeridiaanit
Antipoodmeridiaanit, also known as antipodal meridians, are pairs of meridians on Earth that are diametrically opposite to each other. Each antipodal meridian pair is separated by 180 degrees of longitude. This means that if you stand on one meridian, the antipodal meridian is directly opposite you on the other side of the Earth. For example, if you are standing on the Prime Meridian (0 degrees longitude) in Greenwich, England, your antipodal meridian would be at 180 degrees longitude, which passes through the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Antipodal meridians are significant in geography and navigation, as they help in understanding the Earth's spherical shape and in determining the opposite side of the planet. They also play a role in understanding time zones and the distribution of landmasses and oceans.
