Alsterån
Alsterån is a river in the province of Scania, Sweden. It is a tributary of the River Helge, which in turn is a tributary of the River Rönne. The river originates in the Alsterkullen area, near the town of Sjöbo, and flows generally eastwards, passing through the town of Sjöbo before joining the River Helge near the village of Alsterbro. The river is approximately 20 kilometers long and has a catchment area of around 100 square kilometers. It is a popular destination for canoeing and other water-based activities, and is also used for fishing. The river is part of the larger Rönneå River system, which is one of the longest river systems in Sweden. The river has been the subject of various environmental studies due to its importance as a habitat for various species of fish and other aquatic life.
