Allatiivsed

Allatiiviset refers to the allative forms in Finnish grammar, collectively describing the allative case used to mark direction toward a recipient or destination. The term comes from Finnish nomenclature for grammatical cases, where allatiivinen (allative) denotes the function of indicating “to” or toward someone or something.

Formation and forms: In Finnish, the allative is usually expressed by attaching the suffix -lle to a noun or pronoun. Examples include talolle (to the house), kaupalle (to the shop), and torille (to the market). Pronouns have fixed allative forms such as minulle (to me), sinulle (to you), hänelle (to him/her), meille (to us), teille (to you all), and heille (to them).
