AbbasidPersian refers to the significant cultural and linguistic influence of Persian civilization and the Persian language within the Abbasid Caliphate, which ruled from 750 to 1258 CE. While the Abbasid Caliphate was an Arab caliphate, its administration, bureaucracy, and court culture became heavily Persianized.
