3ketodihydrosphingosine

3-ketodihydrosphingosine, also known as N-acylsphingosine or psychosine, is a ceramide precursor and a type of sphingolipid. It is an intermediate in the de novo synthesis pathway of sphingolipids. Sphingolipids are a class of lipids that are important components of cell membranes and play roles in various cellular processes, including cell signaling, proliferation, and apoptosis.
