2monoglütseriids
2monoglycerides, also known as monoglycerides, are a class of lipids. They are esters derived from glycerol and a single fatty acid. The fatty acid can be attached to any of the three hydroxyl groups of the glycerol molecule, resulting in different isomers. For example, if the fatty acid is attached to the primary hydroxyl group (carbon 1 or 3), it is a 1-monoglyceride. If it is attached to the secondary hydroxyl group (carbon 2), it is a 2-monoglyceride.
These compounds play important roles in biological systems. They are intermediates in the metabolism of fats.
Monoglycerides also possess amphipathic properties, meaning they have both hydrophilic (water-attracting) and hydrophobic (water-repelling) regions. This
