Täitemenetlusse refers to the enforcement procedure in Finnish law. It is the process by which a creditor can compel a debtor to fulfill their obligations, typically financial. This procedure is governed by the Enforcement Code (ulosottolaki).

The enforcement procedure begins when a creditor obtains an enforceable judgment or other enforceable document, such as a court order or a promissory note with an enforcement clause. The creditor then files an application for enforcement with the Enforcement Office (ulosottovirasto).

Once an enforcement application is accepted, the Enforcement Office will initiate measures to collect the debt. These measures can include garnishing wages or bank accounts, seizing and selling the debtor's property, or imposing other restrictions. The specific actions taken depend on the nature of the debt and the debtor's assets.

The debtor has certain rights within the enforcement procedure, including the right to be informed of the proceedings and to object to the enforcement measures. If the debtor cannot pay the debt, they may be declared bankrupt. The ultimate goal of the enforcement procedure is to satisfy the creditor's claim.
