The Working Time Act specifies daily and weekly rest periods. Daily rest must be at least 11 consecutive hours, and weekly rest at least 35 consecutive hours. Overtime is also regulated, with limits on the total amount of overtime that can be worked within a day, week, and year. Employers must keep records of working time to ensure compliance. There are also exceptions and specific regulations for certain professions and types of work, such as those involving irregular working hours or continuous operations. The purpose of these regulations is to protect employee health and safety by preventing excessive working hours and ensuring adequate rest.
