Tenul is a village located in the region of Transnistria, an breakaway state of Moldova. It is situated on the eastern bank of the Dniester River. The population of Tenul is primarily ethnic Moldovan. The village's economy is largely based on agriculture. Historically, the area has seen shifts in political control, with periods under Romanian and Soviet rule before the establishment of the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic in 1990.
