szénciklusban
Szénciklusban refers to the carbon cycle in Hungarian. The carbon cycle is the biogeochemical cycle by which carbon is exchanged among the biosphere, pedosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere of the Earth. It is one of the most important of the biogeochemical cycles. In the Earth's biosphere, carbon is primarily found in plants, animals, and microorganisms. In the pedosphere, it is stored in soils as organic matter. The geosphere contains carbon in rocks and fossil fuels. The hydrosphere, encompassing oceans, lakes, and rivers, holds dissolved carbon compounds. The atmosphere contains carbon in the form of carbon dioxide and methane.
The carbon cycle is driven by a variety of processes. Photosynthesis by plants and other photosynthetic organisms
Human activities, particularly the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation, have significantly altered the natural carbon
