Skraplacze is the Polish plural term for condensers, which are devices or apparatuses designed to condense a substance from its gaseous state into its liquid state. This phase change is typically achieved by removing heat from the gas or vapor. The process is a fundamental principle of thermodynamics and is essential in many technological and industrial fields.

The primary function of a condenser is heat exchange. A hot vapor enters the unit and is passed over or through a cooling surface. This surface is usually cooled by a secondary medium, such as circulating water or ambient air. As the vapor cools, its molecules lose energy and condense into liquid droplets, a process that releases latent heat.
