Równolegoboks is the Polish term for a parallelepiped, a three-dimensional figure formed by six parallelograms. It is a prism where the bases are parallelograms. A rectangular parallelepiped, also known as a cuboid, is a special case where all faces are rectangles. If all six faces are squares, the figure is a cube.

The volume of a parallelepiped can be calculated by multiplying the area of its base by its height. Alternatively, it can be found using the scalar triple product of the three vectors that define its adjacent edges originating from a common vertex. The surface area of a parallelepiped is the sum of the areas of its six faces. Opposite faces of a parallelepiped are congruent and parallel.

Parallelepipeds are fundamental geometric shapes with applications in various fields, including crystallography, where they describe the unit cells of crystal structures, and in linear algebra, where they represent the volume spanned by three linearly independent vectors. Their properties are extensively studied in geometry and calculus.
