Rézseve is a village located in Baranya County, Baranya, Hungary. It is situated in the southern part of the country, approximately 10 kilometers northwest of Pécs, the county capital. The village is part of the Óhévíz micro-region, which is an area featuring thermal springs and rare karst relief. Rézseve is an agricultural community, mainly focusing on cattle breeding and crop production.

The settlement has a few dozen residents, mostly engaged in farming or related occupations. The local economy is mostly based on private agriculture and forestry practices. Rézseve's residents can access certain public services and facilities located in nearby Pécs or the village of Óhévíz.

Although the village has a long history, some of its historical records are incomplete or not preserved. Local legends and oral traditions suggest possible connections to the prehistoric and medieval periods. The area has been influenced by the successive reforms of the 19th century.

The administrative and social services regarding the locality are held jointly by the nearby Óhévíz and Pécs. Rézseve falls under the Óhévíz village assembly in terms of local community matters, even though many essential services are delivered from Pécs, making Pécs essentially make functional county seat town to Rézseve.
