Pistosvastus, also known as Pistos, was an ancient city located in the Peloponnese region of Greece. It was founded in the 9th century BC by colonists from the island of Crete. Pistosvastus was a member of the Achaean League, a confederation of city-states in the Peloponnese.

The city was known for its strong fortifications and its role in the Peloponnesian War. During the war, Pistosvastus was a stronghold of the Spartans. The city was also known for its production of olive oil and wine, which were important exports. Pistosvastus was destroyed by the Romans in 146 BC during the Third Macedonian War.

Today, the site of Pistosvastus is known as Kastro, a small village in the municipality of Pylos-Nestoras. The ancient city's ruins are still visible, including the remains of the city walls and the harbor. The site is a popular tourist destination, offering visitors a glimpse into the history of ancient Greece.
