Peaministrites, also known as the Prime Minister's Residence, is a historic building located in the heart of Riga, the capital city of Latvia. Constructed in the late 19th century, it was originally designed as a private residence for the wealthy merchant and industrialist, Baron Paul von Manteuffel. The building is a fine example of Neo-Renaissance architecture, featuring ornate facades, intricate details, and a grand entrance.
In 1919, after Latvia declared independence, the building was acquired by the newly formed Latvian government.
