oxigénnitrogén
Oxigénnitrogén refers to a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen gases. This specific combination is primarily encountered in medical contexts, particularly in the form of medical oxygen. Medical oxygen is typically supplied as a compressed gas or a liquid and is a critical component of respiratory therapy. It is used to treat conditions such as hypoxemia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and during surgical procedures. The precise ratio of oxygen to nitrogen in medical gas mixtures can vary depending on the intended application, but it is generally a higher concentration of oxygen than that found in ambient air, which is approximately 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen. The remaining percentage is composed of other trace gases. The delivery of medical oxygen is carefully controlled to ensure appropriate levels are administered to patients. Outside of medical applications, simple mixtures of oxygen and nitrogen are also the primary components of the Earth's atmosphere.
