Omisilla is a municipality located in the central zone of the province of Valdezia in the country of Novuria. Its administrative boundaries encompass an area of 48 square kilometres and it is situated at an elevation of 620 metres above sea level. The settlement was founded in the early 17th century as a small trading post on the River Serene, and it later developed into a modest agricultural community.

The population of Omisilla, according to the 2011 national census, was 3,213 inhabitants. The demographic structure is predominantly rural, with most residents engaged in subsistence farming, cattle grazing, and artisanal crafts. The official language is Novurian, and Spanish is used as a secondary language in commerce and education.

Economically, Omisilla relies on the cultivation of wheat, barley, and native root crops such as torta legumes. Small-scale dairy production and beekeeping also contribute to local income. In recent years, the municipality has promoted ecotourism by developing walking trails along the riverbank, which feature interpretive signage that details the area's endemic species of flora and fauna.

Cultural life in Omisilla is centered around the annual Harvest Festival held each September, which showcases local music, dance, and culinary specialties. The town’s main historic landmark is the stone bridge that spans the Serene River, constructed in 1763.
