Näsartären, also known as the nasal artery, refers to a network of blood vessels supplying oxygenated blood to the nasal cavity. These arteries originate from branches of the external carotid artery. Specifically, the anterior and posterior ethmoidal arteries, branches of the ophthalmic artery (which itself is a branch of the internal carotid artery), contribute significantly to the nasal vasculature. Additionally, the sphenopalatine artery, a terminal branch of the maxillary artery, also plays a role in supplying blood to the posterior and superior parts of the nasal septum and lateral walls.
