Nemea is a town and municipality in the Corinthia regional unit of the Peloponnese, Greece. It lies in the eastern part of the peninsula, near the site of the ancient sanctuary of Nemea, which was dedicated to Zeus and hosted the Nemean Games.

The ancient Nemea site contains the ruins of the Temple of Zeus, a stadium, and treasuries from various Greek city-states. The Nemean Games, one of the four Panhellenic festivals, were held there from approximately the 6th century BCE until late antiquity. The region is also linked to Greek mythology through the tale of the Nemean Lion, a monstrous beast slain by Heracles as his first labor.

In modern times, Nemea is notable for its viticulture. The Nemea wine region, a protected designation of origin, produces red wines mainly from the Agiorgitiko grape. The area combines agriculture, wine production, and tourism connected to its archaeological site and countryside.
